We shall start our tour by visiting the city of Alhambra, initially established in 13th century by the founder of the Nazari dynasty Mohamed Ibn Alhamar on the red hill or assabika that dominates Granada. The fortress or Alcazaba was built first followed by the Royal Palace and "High" Alhambra, residence of courtesans. Later Charles V ordered the construction of a palace within the same grounds.

We shall visit: the fortress or Alcazaba, Mexuar Palace, the Serrallo, the patio of los Arrayanes (Myrtles), the Hall of la Barca, the Ambassadors Hall, the Peinador de la Reina, the Patio of the Lions, the Hall of the Abencerrajes, - of tragic legends -, the Royal Baths, Lindaraja, the Gardens of the Partal and the Palace of Charles V. We shall continue to Generalife, which next to the Alhambra was a place of leisure for the Moorish Kings f Granada. Its beautiful gardens stand out with their abundant and varied flora and stunning water features, described in one poem as "water that cries". The Patio of la Acequia (siquia in Arabic - irrigation channel) and that of the Sultan shall be visited.

The prices includes: transport, guide and admission. Approximate duration: 2,5 hours. On certain occasions the Alhambra Trust may alter the order of the visit and resitric access to certain areas, in which case the agency shall adapt the tour accordingly without reducing the visiting time.
